Your invitation

The first joint meeting of the International Symposium on Poisonous Plants (ISOPP) and the International Society for Mycotoxicology (ISM) will take place on the beautiful Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia between 2 and 5 October 2017.

The conference organising committee is pleased to offer all businesses throughout the food/feed supply chain an opportunity to provide sponsorship of the event.  This is an opportunity for your organisation to demonstrate support for this event, to increase customer contact, and pursue business opportunities.

For professional organisations of scientists, researchers, regulatory authorities and industry consultants this is an opportunity to showcase your society or organisation to like-minded and interested colleagues who may well be stimulated to attend the Conference.

The conference

The Key Themes of the conference will include:

  • Global impact of plant toxins and mycotoxins in the 21st century
  • Implications for human, animal and environmental health
  • Bioactive potential of plant and fungal toxins
  • Analytical approaches to toxin detection and occurrence
  • Genomic and other mitigation strategies
  • Contemporary regulatory issues and trade
  • Emerging toxins in a changing environment.

The Conference will give you the opportunity to network with a diverse audience of researchers, regulators, business professionals and consultants.

Who will attend?

Research scientists, graduate students, national and international intergovernmental authorities, food and feed industry professionals will attend ISOPP10 & ISM 2017 which is being held as a joint meeting in Australia for the first time.

What else will be happening at ISOPP10 & ISM 2017?

In addition to the technical program there will be social functions that will encourage and foster networking opportunities.

To attract international delegates, the conference will be held on the Gold Coast – known as Australia’s favourite playground.  The attractions of the Gold Coast are diverse and colourful in nature: beaches with unique beauty, fantastic foreshore areas and walks, a high-rise dominated skyline, exhilarating theme parks and a world heritage rainforest waiting for your exploration.  We are encouraging delegates to combine the Conference with a holiday to explore the charm of the Australia.

Sponsorship contact

We encourage you to contact the Sponsorship Coordinator to discuss the best sponsorship package to meet your budget and needs.  If you have specific requirements or desired outcomes linked to your sponsorship, we would be happy to tailor a package to suit your organisation.  All sponsorship opportunities, entitlements and costs are subject to negotiation (all amounts are inclusive of 10% GST).
